We offer the largest range of industrial disc brake calipers in the world. The majority of direct acting (pneumatic or hydraulic) brake calipers are fitted with a retraction device. The spring applied brakes are retracted by pneumatic or hydraulic pressure or electrically. We also supply a large range of discs, mounting hubs and brake pads.

We offer a large range of rubber-based light, medium and heavy duty Layrub™ and Laylink™ couplings.

We offer also centrifugal clutch couplings allowing a load free start and smooth acceleration of transmission systems.

Typical brake calipers.

Telescopic Laylink™ and Layrub™ shaft couplings.

VKSD disc brake caliper comprises of two similar halves or hydraulic modules and is used with a brake disc thickness from 20 mm. Braking force is between 28 - 119 kN, minimum disc diameter is 1000 mm.

GMR and GMR40 disc brake calipers can be used with brake discs of 25.4 or 40mm thick. They may used with a number of Twiflex series of actuators. Minimum disc diameter is 600 mm.

GMR brake calipers shown are GMRH hydraulically applied - spring released, and GMRSH spring applied - hydraulically released.

MX brake calipers can be used with a number of Twiflex series of actuators. Minimum disc diameter is 300 mm..

MXEA is a spring applied - electrically released brake caliper which comes complete with a 24V DC or 110V/240V/380V AC controller. The actuator features a patented self adjusting mechanism maintaining constant braking force.

The Laylink™ couplings have a high torsional stiffness which allows them to transmit particularly large torques and accommodate large levels of misalignment and movement of the shaft. The large volume of the rubber blocks gives Layrub™ couplings a relatively low torsional stiffness and good damping characteristics.

Flexiclutch™ centrifugal clutch coupling, Airstart™ .

The Airstart™ clutch combines the advantages of automatic centrifugal clutch coupling allowing shaft misalignment, vibration damping and smooth engagement of the driven system.

Engagement and disengagement can be achieved at any speed using pneumatic pressure.
